Pip Adams

Pip Adams
Pip Adams is an artist inspired by the natural beauty of flowers, in particular their form and colour painted in the abstract to create richness and vibrancy. She works in oil, watercolour, charcoal and pencil. In addition to her fine art practice Pip works as a freelance textile designer and illustrator, creating fashion fabrics for over twenty years. This developed her love of the relationship between shape, pattern and above all colour. She has taught on undergraduate degree courses at several art colleges in the UK, having originally studied Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University. Born in Singapore, she spent most of her life in the UK and Europe, but now lives in Vancouver with her husband and four children. She regularly exhibits her paintings at arts festivals and galleries.
