Canadian painter, Ann-Marie Brown's artistic practice is tied to a passionate exploration of the world. She travels for months at a time, returning to distill collected experiences into bodies of work that capture revelatory moments of stillness.
"She paints from the eyes of compassionate experience, witnessing life in it's raw infallible beauty"- Joanna McKenzie Enga
Ann-Marie's oil and encaustic paintings have been exhibited across the United States and Canada, and included in private, public and corporate collections. Her paintings have been featured in academic journals, and on film. Most notably in Dan Zukovic's award winning Dark Arc "A tale about love, lust, art, and the power of the charged image."
