Lynn  Falconer
I started creating bronze sculptures ten years ago in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Previously, I worked as a graphic artist and photographer for nearly twenty years. I now sculpt full time at my studio at 1000 Parker Street, Vancouver. I am a member of the Sculptors’ Society of BC, the West Coast Clay Sculptors Association and Artists in our Midst. I was a contributor to The Arts Umbrella ‘Splash’ auction in 2011 and 2009, and I am currently represented at Buckland Southerst Gallery in Vancouver and Sperling Gallery in Langley, BC.Creating bronze sculpture is an involved process that incorporates clay or plasticine to create the original piece, rubber and plaster for the re-usable mould, soft wax for the duplicate positive form, ceramic for the heat resistant final mould, molten bronze and patina chemicals to finish the process.
